Workshops at Ground & Center are where grown ups (and sometimes kids) learn or rediscover a connection to themselves so they can better support their family, friends and community. Experiences will be held monthly and will explore a variety of themes and topics such as– Everyday mindfulness: Weaving mindfulness organically into your routine, Self Care, Harmony at Home, Grounding for Grown Ups, Yoga and Mindfulness Tricks for Kids and more! Experiences range between 75 min-2 hours. Our Workshops prices start at $45!

I don't know how to organically encourage my child/teen in my life to practice everyday mindfulness.

Several of our workshops (including Harmony at Home and Everyday Mindfulness) showcase tips and tricks on how to naturally build the strategies the child/teen in your life has learned in class into your every day. 

I need a sense of community. I struggle with connecting with other adults who are going through similar experiences.

All of our workshops (especially our Self Care workshop) are safe, no pressure zones for you to meet, greet, and connect with other adults looking to bring mindfulness to the younger generation.

Our Grounding for Grownups Workshop will provide you with the opportunity to gather mindfulness strategies of your own, so that you too can practice self-awareness and connect on a deeper level with the child/teen in your life.

+ Everyday Mindfulness Workshop: Weaving mindfulness organically into your routine. Bond with your littlest love in this 45 minute practice that offers gentle stretches/movements for baby and grown up, community building, meditation, tummy time and relaxation. When mindfulness strategies are organically woven into your day, they become more of a welcomed routine, rather than a mundane chore. Whether you have a student enrolled in one of our classes, or you have a child/teen in your life who would benefit from an environment that cultivates mindfulness, you will most certainly find this workshop helpful. This session offers easy to implement strategies, examples, exercises, literature, and laughter with information delivered in a light hearted fashion, to help make mindfulness easily accessible for even the busiest of schedules.

+ Self-Care Workshop: Self care has become a ‘buzzword’ that may trigger images of facials, massages, and island retreats. While these things are wonderful, they may not always be accessible. You deserve to explore self care in new ways that can be done in moments of need. But, it’s also important to treat yourself to some fun too and in ways that don’t break the bank! This unique workshop is your opportunity to connect with other grown-ups who have shared similar experiences in the world of children/adolescent mindfulness. Each month will bring a new experience from paint night to acoustic music, sound healing, gathering circles, and so much more. Participants can expect to leave this workshop feeling refreshed, connected, and inspired. 


+ Grounding for Grownups Workshop: This workshop provides a safe space to speak freely and tap into YOUR thoughts. Through a series of easy to follow grounding techniques, we will explore how to practice the art of noticing your body’s signals and thoughts in addition to participating in problem/resolution conversations and exercises. You’ll have the opportunity to explore gentle movement, tap into your senses with intention, practice ways to use journaling, and discover (or rediscover) bringing joy to life's simplest moments.   

+ Harmony at Home Workshop: “Dopamine Decor” is not just a trend! During this inspiring workshop, you will be introduced to the creative world of mindful home decorating. You will feel encouraged to stay curious when it comes to using the five senses as a means to cultivate peace and joy in your home. During our conversation, we will discover how to use lamps and mirrors to improve your mood, how sense of smell sends particular messages to our nervous system, how to showcase color and artwork in your home, in addition to the idea of “setting boundaries” to particular spaces as a means to help you effectively utilize every part of your home. Participants will create and leave with an aesthetically pleasing, reusable, DIY habit tracker!


+ Yoga and Mindfulness Tips and Tricks for Kids Workshop: In this workshop you’ll learn simple, fun, and easy to teach/implement mindfulness and yoga activities for your youngest of learners! Perfect for grown ups raising or serving ages 1-10. You’ll discover tangible tools to help your child move through meltdowns/struggles, use their body, mind, and breath to cope with emotions, ease transitions, and more. Practices offered can be done in as little as 1-5 minutes, and can be done ANYTIME for added accessibility.
